The Isaiah 58
Isaiah 58 tells us what true prayer and fasting is. It's "to loose the chains of injustice...to set the oppressed free and break every yoke...to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter – when you see the naked, to clothe them..."
Each year the Indianapolis Prayer Breakfast honors a local ministry that reflects this passage in Isaiah 58.
We do this by:
donating to the "Isaiah 58" recipient one dollar from every ticket sold, and
presenting an opportunity for those at the Breakfast to make a donation if they feel led.
